Certified Practising Horticulturist
The Certified Practising Horticulturist (CPH) Programme certifies the credentials of individuals who have completed the CPH Recognition Training, CPH Examination, CPH Project Report and who have met the experience requirements set forth by the CPHB.
Individuals who have completed the above requirements are conferred the title ‘Certified Practising Horticulturist’ (CPH).
This programme is accredited with the Australian Institute of Horticulture, a highly distinguished professional body for horticulturists in the sub-tropics.
Certification validity: 3 years
Maintaining Your Certification
A CPH shall accumulate at least thirty (30) Continuing Education Units (CEUs)* and pay the re-certification fee by the end of the three (3)-years period for renewal of the certification.
* Excess CEU will not be carried over to the new certification period.
For more info, refer to: CPH Maintaining CEUs
Extension of Certification Period
CPH who has insufficient CEUs for recertification will automatically be granted six (6) months extension. No further extension will be granted.
De-certification
If a CPH holder did not fulfil the re-certification criteria before expiry date (both extended and non-extended), his or her certification will expire.
Re-certification
CPH holder will need to retake the CPH full programme or Assessment-only-Pathway (AOP) and meet the passing requirements set by CUGE. The renewed certification period starts from the original expiration date, not the extended expiration date.
