| Level 1 |
The Worker in the landscape industry performs tasks that are well defined, primarily outdoor and in a standardised work context, to support landscape work in accordance with instructions and under supervision.

| Level 2 | The Technician in the landscape industry is required to carry out defined work tasks with some independence and be able to react to changes in the work contexts by adjusting the application of skills. Depending on the sub-sector, the Worker may perform different tasks. |
| Level 3 | The Supervisor in the landscape industry is responsible for the execution of operations at worksites. He/she plans the manpower deployment and oversees the execution of work as per established schedule, procedures and Workplace Safety and Health regulations. He/she monitors performance of the work done and reports to the management on a regular basis. |
| Level 4 | The Manager in the landscape industry oversees daily operations and leads the execution of landscape development and enhancement. He/she is responsible for the scoping, planning, initiating and execution of projects and may manage multiple projects concurrently. He/she may also be involved in business development activities. The Manager is required to manage within resource constraints. |
| Progressive Wage Model (PWM) for the landscape industry |
Progressive Wage Model (PWM) for the landscape industry provides a pathway for landscape workers to progress with training and improvements in productivity and standards. The PWM gives landscape workers a clearer pathway to career progress and will allow them to earn higher wages to commensurate with improved training, better skill sets, higher standards and higher productivity.

Landscaping WSQ Qualifications to Qualify for Higher-skilled (R1) Worker Levy
Level 2 Technician certification caters to Work Permit Holders (WPHs), to qualify for higher-skilled (R1) worker levy for companies under the Landscape, Construction services Growing Nursery Products sector.

Assessment-only Pathway (AOP)
*AOP is intended to validate the competencies of experienced landscape workforce. In-service landscape workers with the relevant knowledge and skills may take the assessment of a WSQ course, via the AOP, without undergoing training at CUGE.
